Mr. Donofrio started working with PIA Residential in February 2016 as Managing Director of Multifamily Acquisitions. Mr. Donofrio is focused on sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring multifamily opportunities throughout the Southeast region of the U.S. Prior to joining PIA Residential, Mr. Donofrio had been part of the M&A team for Home Properties Inc., a publicly traded REIT. During his 17 years of service, the company invested approximately $4.5 billion, acquiring 52,000+ apartment units throughout the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Prior to his tenure with Home Properties, Mr. Donofrio was a commercial mortgage banker with First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Rochester New York managing a portfolio of multifamily assets located in the Metro New York City Region. Mr. Donofrio holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from State University of New York College at Brockport.
